Crash Paper Music for Robots

Crash Paper Music for Robots was a collaborative performance project by Svenja Kratz, Mariam Arcilla, and Christina Smart. The project featured short, 80s computer game-inspired songs paired with video and stop-frame animation sequences. Combining five keyboards with live-triggered loops, the performance presented a "tongue-in-cheek" audio-visual experience. The music was accompanied by narrative-driven animations created from home videos and stop-frame techniques.

Crash Paper Music for Robots was performed live as part of Bowerbird at The Substation in Brisbane in 2007, showcasing a blend of retro-style audio and visual elements.
